Colour-change fluorite is one of the quietest optical rarities in the mineral world: the same stone reads blue-green in daylight and violet under tungsten light, a shift driven by trace chemistry and lattice defects rather than by any treatment.
Nova is a 581.93 ct transparent cushion, documented as natural fluorite with a genuine daylight-to-incandescent colour change and no detected treatments.

Two stones in one
In daylight Nova reads a cool blue-green; under tungsten light the same table turns violet. The effect is repeatable and reversible, and it is described in the documentation as a natural colour change.
A matter of scale
At 581.93 ct and nearly 50 mm across, Nova is far above the size at which clean colour-change fluorite is normally faceted, and the change holds evenly across the whole face.
Fragility
At Mohs 4 with perfect octahedral cleavage, fluorite is among the most delicate faceted gems. Handled with gloves, never ultrasonically cleaned.
